Scoop Science is an educational tool for home ice cream making. Nutritional estimates are calculated using USDA Standard Reference data and should be treated as approximations, not medical-grade nutritional information.

If you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or health conditions, consult a healthcare professional before using any recipes. We do not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

2. Mandatory Allergen Verification

While our calculator offers allergen substitution suggestions, you are solely responsible for verifying all ingredients and their allergen content by reading physical product packaging.

Manufacturing facilities, cross-contamination, and ingredient formulations change. Always check labels for:

• "Contains" statements
• "May contain" warnings
• "Processed in a facility with" disclosures

3. Machine Safety & Appliance Protection

Our texture analysis system flags recipes that may be "Too Hard," "Icy," or "Rock Solid" when frozen. Processing overly hard frozen bases can damage your Ninja CREAMi blade, motor, or housing.

We provide "lid-off freezing" recommendations for high-water recipes to reduce blade stress. These are suggestions based on thermodynamic research and user reports, not manufacturer-approved guidelines.

We are not liable for appliance damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from recipe use.

4. Limitation of Liability

Scoop Science is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for:

5. Accuracy of Estimates

PAC (Potency Anti-Freeze), POD (Potency of Sweetness), and nutritional calculations are based on scientific research and USDA data. However, actual results vary due to:

• Freezer temperature variations (-18°C to -23°C is common range)
• Ingredient brand differences (fat content, water content, additives)
• Machine model variations (Original vs Standard vs Deluxe CREAMi)
• Measuring accuracy (volume vs weight measurements)
• Freeze time and environmental factors

Texture predictions are theoretical. Your experience may differ.
